Earth Day Meditation & Sound Bath

Join Tracy Astorino & Anne Savery for an evening of mindfulness and deep listening as we celebrate Earth Day under the vast, starlit dome of the planetarium. Immerse yourself in a celestial journey that honors our planet, fosters a sense of connection, and inspires compassionate action for the Earth. There will also be a short presentation from the planetarium director.

What to Bring: yoga mat, blanket, and/or pillow. Chairs will be provided for those wishing to sit.

Parking to the north of the Durham Science Building, entrance also on north side and planetarium on lower level of the building.

This special gathering will feature a guided meditation designed to cultivate gratitude for the Earth and inspire compassionate climate action, followed by an immersive sound bath that harmonizes the body and mind with the rhythms of nature.
